Potential for extensive Vietnam-France cooperation in conquering space

The seminar “Intersectional Perspectives from Space” not only opened up opportunities for Vietnam-France cooperation in space research but also recorded the assessment from French astronauts about the scientific capacity of Vietnamese students.

On September 24, at the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH), a special scientific event took place, attracting the attention of many students, researchers and the public who love the universe.

The seminar with the theme “Intersectional Perspectives from the Universe: Journey, Creativity and Cooperation between France and Vietnam” is where stories of space exploration , scientific creativity and the spirit of international cooperation are connected and strongly spread.

The seminar was attended by distinguished guests: Mrs. Claudie Haigneré – the first French female astronaut to fly into space, and her husband, Mr. Jean-Pierre Haigneré, a veteran pilot and astronaut of the French Air Force. Accompanying the French astronauts were veteran scientists from USTH.

The seminar is not only a bridge for students to access modern space knowledge, but also opens up prospects for extensive cooperation between Vietnam and France in science, innovation and technology./.
