According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tien Giang province, the Hung King's death anniversary is to honor the merits of the Hung King, the ancestors who built the country and the national heroes who built the country. In 2007, the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam unanimously chose the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month every year as the Hung Kings' National Death Anniversary. In Tien Giang province, in 2011, the province decided to choose the location of the Tien Giang Museum as the place to place the Hung Kings' altar, so that the people in the province can conveniently offer incense to their ancestors.
