At the Hung Kings' death anniversary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Vinh beat the drum to open the ceremony; leaders of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism read the congratulatory message; in a respectful and solemn atmosphere, delegates offered flowers and incense to the National Ancestor's altar to commemorate the Hung Kings.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tien Giang province, the Hung King's death anniversary is to honor the merits of the Hung King, the ancestors who built the country and the national heroes who built the country. This is an annual activity of the people of Tien Giang province for many years to promote and introduce the historical traditions, culture, customs and good practices of the country and the Vietnamese people in general, and Tien Giang province in particular; to encourage and motivate all classes of people in the province to constantly strive, compete, work and produce, contributing to building the homeland of Tien Giang increasingly rich and beautiful.

In 2007, the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam unanimously chose the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month every year as the Hung Kings' National Death Anniversary. In Tien Giang province, in 2011, the province decided to choose the location of the Tien Giang Museum as the place to place the Hung Kings' altar, so that the people in the province can conveniently offer incense to their ancestors.
