In the first 6 months of the year, despite many difficulties, the socio-economic situation of Tien Hai district has generally developed stably. The total production value is estimated at 11,092.1 billion VND, reaching 44.6% of the plan, up 9.94% over the same period in 2022 (ranked 1/8 districts and cities), of which: agriculture, forestry and fishery is estimated at 2,509.2 billion VND, reaching 46.5% of the plan, up 2.17%; industry and construction is estimated at 7,086.6 billion VND, reaching 43.6% of the plan, up 13.64%; trade and services are estimated at 1,496.3 billion VND, reaching 47.0% of the plan, up 7.09%. Medical examination and treatment meet the task of taking care of people's health. Basic social security and welfare policies are guaranteed, promptly caring for policy beneficiaries and the poor. National defense and security are maintained.
In the last 6 months of the year, Tien Hai District People's Committee continues to direct departments, branches, communes and towns to focus on preparing land for crop production; speed up the implementation of advanced new rural construction. Pay attention to the work of repairing and dredging canals to prevent and combat flooding in natural disaster prevention, search and rescue. Strengthen the work of collecting state budget, exploiting revenue sources well, collecting enough and collecting according to regulations. Speed up basic construction investment projects, carry out administrative reforms. Strengthen measures to ensure security, politics - order and social safety in the district.
