Received over 28 billion VND to support the Northern provinces in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3

On the afternoon of September 23, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city announced that as of 3:30 p.m. the same day, this agency had received 28,165,619,916 VND from organizations and individuals to support the northern provinces in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3 (2,375,298,000 VND in cash from 113 organizations and individuals and 25,790,321,916 VND with 3,415 transfers through the Da Nang Social Policy Bank).

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city received support for the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3.

Previously, as reported, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee allocated 22,000,000,000 VND to support the northern provinces, including: 7 billion VND to the accounts of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Lao Cai, Cao Bang, Yen Bai , Lang Son, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Ha Giang provinces, each province received 1 billion VND to support people to overcome the consequences and soon stabilize their lives; 2 billion VND to the account of the Relief Mobilization Committee (Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province) to use the Tam Long Viet Fund (Vietnam Television) to reconstruct houses and civil works of Lang Nu (Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district) buried by flash floods in storm No. 3 (according to the direction of the Prime Minister at the inspection and working session on overcoming the consequences of the flash flood on September 12); 13,000,000,000 VND into the account of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee (Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front) to synthesize and balance distribution to support localities damaged by storm No. 3.

On September 22, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city publicly disclosed information (statement) of nearly 23 billion VND in support of the northern provinces from 3,300 organizations and individuals (as of the afternoon of September 20).
