On the evening of January 26, on many Facebook pages of Ho Chi Minh City residents, people were excitedly passing around an image of a dragon mascot made of green trees that looked very "crazy" at Tao Dan Park (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).
In the photo accidentally taken by a passerby, the dragon appears as a snake with a dragon's jaw.
Below the posts, many readers left comments saying that this is not a dragon but... "an earthworm sketch", "the incarnation of a python spirit", "an ancient dragon", "like an earth dragon"... "I'm tired of laughing. Maybe next year I'll just turn into a snake for convenience. Looking at this dragon makes me laugh all year, and I'll laugh again next year!" - Quan Nguyen commented.
Like every year, Tao Dan Park this year will be the venue for the Giap Thin Spring Flower Festival, held for 10 days from February 6 to 15 (ie December 26, Quy Mao year to the 6th day of the Giap Thin New Year). Surely this "dragon" will be one of the interesting highlights that many locals and tourists will check-in when coming to the Spring Flower Festival.
Previously, people were also shocked when they saw the dragon mascot decorated at AeoMall Shopping Center (Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City). This contestant was given the nickname "panic dragon" or "peek-a-boo dragon" by netizens.
