Continue to enforce 79 illegal villas in Phu Quoc City

The cases subject to enforcement include: Mr. THT's villa (residing in Ho Chi Minh City) is using an area of ​​493.6 square meters; Mr. LVH's villa is using an area of ​​514.4 square meters; Mr. BVH's villa is using an area of ​​499.9 square meters.

Up to this point, the People's Committee of Phu Quoc city has completed the enforcement of 19 houses, and violators have voluntarily demolished 7 houses in the area of ​​79 illegally built villas mentioned above.

Authorities enforced the demolition of 79 illegal villas on the morning of May 10.

Regarding this villa area, Kien Giang Provincial Police also initiated a case and prosecuted two suspects for fraud and property appropriation.

On January 10, the Investigation Police Agency of Kien Giang Province issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Bui Van Hieu (born in 1974, residing in Hiep Thanh Ward, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City) and Dao Van Quy (born in 1974, residing in Vinh Loc A Commune, Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) for fraud and property appropriation.

Accordingly, in 2019, Hieu and Quy agreed with a number of other entities to occupy 15,000 ^{square meters} in Duong Bao hamlet, Duong To commune, Phu Quoc city.

After that, the subjects illegally divided the plots and sold them to many people, illegally profiting more than 15 billion VND.
