Continue to promote the peak of the fight against commercial fraud

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh commended the Ministry of Public Security , functional units of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, provinces and cities for promptly detecting and handling cases of trading in counterfeit functional foods, medical equipment, trading in goods with signs of counterfeiting famous brands, and producing and trading in prohibited goods.

The Prime Minister requested the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to continue to closely coordinate with ministries, branches and localities to mobilize businesses and people to actively and responsibly participate in the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods to detect early, combat and prevent right from the grassroots, from the starting point.

The Prime Minister requested ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, and chairmen of provincial and municipal People's Committees to continue to mobilize and strengthen direction for forces and functional units to step up the peak period of the fight to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights.

Continue to intensify the anti-smuggling campaign with greater determination, thereby promptly detecting and strictly handling violators, especially strictly handling cadres, civil servants and officers who show signs of moral degradation, corruption, negativity, protection and abetting of law violators.
