(sonla.gov.vn) In recent years, emulation and reward work in Son La province has had positive changes in both content and form, going into depth, substance and achieving many important results. In the coming time, emulation and reward work continues to be identified as a key, regular task, an important driving force to promote the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals, national defense - security and building a strong political system of the province.

In the period of 2021 - 2025, emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister and the province have been actively implemented by all levels and sectors in the province, associated with political tasks, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, and improving people's lives. The Emulation and Reward Councils at all levels have been proactive and innovative in their direction; propaganda, discovery, and replication of typical advanced examples have been promoted, creating a widespread influence. The quality of rewards has been increasingly improved, especially extraordinary and thematic rewards, and the rate of rewards for direct workers has increased. At the same time, the province focuses on training and fostering cadres, promoting administrative reform, and applying information technology, contributing to improving the efficiency, publicity, and transparency in emulation and reward work.

In the coming period, the province sets the goal of strongly innovating the content, form and method of organizing emulation movements in a practical, effective and grassroots direction; creating a clear change in the awareness and actions of all levels, sectors, cadres, party members and people about the role and significance of patriotic emulation. Promote the discovery, training, summarization and replication of advanced examples, new models and good practices; strengthen the application of information technology in the management and operation of emulation and reward work. Improve the quality of reward work, ensure accuracy, publicity, transparency and timeliness, focus on rewarding direct workers, collectives and individuals with many substantial contributions in remote, isolated and particularly difficult areas. Strive by 2030, the province's emulation and reward work will reach a professional level, become systematic and substantial, making an important contribution to the completion of the province's strategic development goals in the new period.

Continue to launch and organize patriotic emulation movements in all fields, promote the strength of the entire political system, focus on successfully implementing plans and goals for economic and social development, ensuring national defense and security of the province in the period of 2025 - 2030, in which, focusing on some key targets such as: Average GRDP growth rate reaches 8%/year; Average GRDP per capita reaches 90 million VND/year; budget revenue in the area reaches 6,000 billion VND; tourism revenue reaches 11,000 billion VND; total social investment capital reaches 150,000 billion VND; Health care reaches 9.5 doctors and 32 hospital beds/10,000 people; health insurance coverage rate reaches 96.35%; 84.4% of schools at all levels meet national standards; 96% of the population has access to centralized clean water; 98% of urban waste is collected and treated; forest coverage is maintained at 50%; 95.2% of agencies, enterprises, schools and 90% of communes and wards meet the "Safety in security and order" standard; every year, 90% or more of grassroots party organizations and party members complete their tasks well; the rate of new party members is 3%/year, with a focus on developing female party members and party members from ethnic minorities; 100% of agencies, units and localities launch and sign emulation agreements; the rate of direct employee commendation reaches at least 35% at the State level and 65% at the provincial level; 100% of commendation records are processed electronically.

In the coming period, Son La province will continue to strengthen and comprehensively innovate its leadership and direction, considering emulation and rewards as important political tasks, associated with key programs and breakthrough tasks; continue to strongly innovate the content, form and methods of organizing patriotic emulation movements, focusing on difficult areas, remote areas and applying digital transformation in monitoring and evaluation. The work of disseminating, discovering, fostering and replicating advanced models is identified as a regular task, aiming to create widespread influence. In addition, the province will improve the quality of rewards in a timely, accurate and transparent manner, associated with the results of task performance, ensuring exemplary and widespread influence. At the same time, improve the operational efficiency of the Emulation and Reward Councils at all levels, focus on consulting work, improve the organization, strengthen inspection and supervision, combine with training and professional training for staff to meet the requirements of innovation, administrative reform and digital transformation.
