Continue to support 400 billion VND for 4 northern provinces to overcome storm consequences

Thai Nguyen Provincial Police support people in cleaning up and sanitizing the environment after floods and inundations

Accordingly, 400 billion VND from the central budget reserve in 2025 will be spent on 4 localities to meet immediate emergency needs and stabilize people's lives after floods.

Of which, Thai Nguyen received 250 billion VND, Cao Bang received 80 billion VND, Lang Son received 50 billion VND and Bac Ninh received 20 billion VND. This is the second support in less than half a month that the Government has given to the northern provinces heavily affected by natural disasters.

The Prime Minister requested the People's Committees of Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Lang Son and Bac Ninh provinces to be responsible for managing and using money for the right purposes, right subjects, transparently, avoiding loss and negativity, and reporting the results to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment for synthesis and reporting to the Government.

Previously, on October 8, the Prime Minister decided to provide emergency aid of VND140 billion to the four above-mentioned provinces to promptly provide relief and initially overcome the consequences of floods. Of which, Thai Nguyen received VND50 billion, Cao Bang VND30 billion, Lang Son VND30 billion, and Bac Ninh VND30 billion.
