After 8 years of investment in Dung Quat Economic Zone, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company has affirmed its role as a key industrial enterprise by contributing more than 40,000 billion VND to the State budget and creating jobs for about 17,000 workers, of which more than 80% are locals.

After 8 years of investment in Dung Quat Economic Zone, up to now, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company has implemented 7 projects, with a total investment of about 189,000 billion VND. The focus is on two iron and steel production complexes 1 and 2, with a total investment of more than 171,000 billion VND. The company has contributed more than 40,000 billion VND to the State budget. Creating jobs for about 17,000 workers, of which local workers account for more than 80%. In 9 months, Hoa Phat produced 7.9 million tons of crude steel, an increase of 23% compared to the first 9 months of last year. From 2026, the Group's steel production capacity is expected to reach 16 million tons/year, including 9 million tons of hot-rolled coil and high-quality steel, ready to meet the increasing demand of the domestic and international markets.
