Continue to improve the quality of policy credit

The working delegation of the Social Policy Bank Branch of Thai Nguyen province came to inspect and grasp the operational situation at Bac Kan Transaction Office.

The delegation visited the goat farming model in Bac Kan ward.

By the end of September 2025, the total outstanding balance of policy credit programs of Bac Kan Transaction Office reached over 371 billion VND, completing 75% of the credit growth plan target for 2025; the overdue debt ratio was only 0.23%, credit quality was stable.

Currently, Bac Kan Transaction Office manages 9 transaction points in communes and wards with 141 savings and loan groups, with no weakly classified groups.

During the working program, the delegation visited 3 typical loan models in Bac Kan ward, Duc Xuan ward and Phong Quang commune. These are models of effective capital use, contributing to job creation, increasing income for people, and spreading the effectiveness of policy credit in the area.

The working delegation visited the tilapia farming model at Nam Cat lake, Phong Quang commune.

The working delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the performance of the Bac Kan Transaction Office since the administrative restructuring, and requested the unit to continue to closely follow the locality, improve credit quality, especially focusing on capital mobilization and handling overdue debts.
