Tim Cook said the purpose of his first trip to Vietnam was to meet with programmers, content creators and visit schools. "I was surprised by the energy of young Vietnamese people," said the Apple CEO.
He wore a simple T-shirt, happily strolling from the Hanoi Post Office on Dinh Tien Hoang Street with 7 people, without many security guards, at 11:15 and for about 15 minutes. Many passersby were curious and surprised to see the Apple CEO.

"There is no place like Vietnam, a vibrant and beautiful country," Tim Cook shared.
Over the past year, Apple has shown its favor to the Vietnamese market by continuously introducing new services. The company opened the Apple Store Online in May 2023, deployed the Apple Pay payment service in August 2023, and recently introduced a detailed map-capturing car system in February to support advanced features of Apple Maps. The company also expanded its search for personnel by posting a job posting for a Siri language engineer in the field of machine learning and AI to support the Vietnamese market.
