During the Tet holiday of Giap Thin 2024, Mr. To Nghiep Sieu (27 years old), a Chinese citizen, residing in Ho Chi Minh City, and his girlfriend traveled , vacationed and celebrated Vietnamese Tet in Binh Dinh province. Mr. Sieu said that he chose to stay at Crown Retreat Resort in Trung Luong quarter, Cat Tien town, Phu Cat district for 2 days. In this area, there is a blue sea beach and a gentle golden sandbank of Trung Luong bay. From this resort area, you can clearly see Phuong Mai wind power field and Ong Nui pagoda, a very romantic scene.

"I chose Binh Dinh as my destination for this year's Tet holiday. There are many beautiful landscapes and quality resorts here. I chose to stay at Crown Retreat Resort because it is close to the picnic area. When resting, I also checked in. In particular, Binh Dinh beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have been to and left the deepest impression on me."

From the 3rd day of Tet until now, every day Trung Luong Picnic Area, Cat Tien town, Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh province welcomes hundreds of visitors to visit and check in. On the occasion of Tet Giap Thin 2024, Trung Hoi Tourism Company has upgraded its services and decorated impressive Tet miniatures such as: blooming apricot and peach trees, fireworks, parallel sentences and banh chung pots.

According to Mr. Le Duy Lan, General Director of Trung Hoi Tourism Company, this is a good sign for tourism and travel service providers: "Trung Luong picnic area has a traditional picnic form from the past to the present. We have upgraded accompanying services such as parking and arranged electric cars down to the beach, upgraded restaurants and coffee shops for customers who want to visit. In early spring, foreign visitors have started to come to Vietnam and find new places to experience. This is a very good sign and our tourism also really needs foreign visitors".

According to the Department of Tourism of Binh Dinh province, during the 7-day Tet holiday of Giap Thin 2024, Binh Dinh welcomed over 184,000 overnight guests, an increase of 23% over the same period in 2023. Revenue is estimated at 146 billion VND, an increase of 20% over the same period in 2023. In particular, this year Binh Dinh province organized a festival to celebrate the 235th anniversary of the Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory with a special art program recreating the heroic spirit of Tay Son and a low-altitude fireworks display in Tay Son district, attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate.

Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged that the number of visitors to Binh Dinh during Tet is a good sign for the tourism industry. However, the tourism industry and localities need to overcome existing problems and open more food and beverage services during Tet to serve customers: "In recent days, the number of tourists returning to Binh Dinh has been very large and exciting. However, people complained that it was too crowded and they still couldn't line up to eat until 2pm. Most of the restaurants will only open on the 6th of Tet. This is one of the lessons we need to learn from to organize a more thoughtful Tet holiday."
