On the morning of August 28, at the National Exhibition Center (Hanoi), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with agencies and Vingroup Corporation organized the opening ceremony of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness".

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assessed that the construction of the National Exhibition Center - a modern and spacious project, contributes to realizing the conclusion of the Politburo on the Planning of Hanoi Capital, developing in the direction of "Cultural - Civilized - Modern" with a smart urban model, a creative, bright, green, clean and beautiful city.

One of the impressive highlights at the exhibition is the Hanoi City Exhibition Area with the theme "Hanoi Traditional and Creative Space 2025", which highlights key areas in the capital's pillar economic sectors: Agriculture, Tourism and Industry and Trade.

The success of the August Revolution was not only the result of the wise leadership of our Party and President Ho Chi Minh, but also the crystallization of the strength of the entire nation, in which patriotism and civic awareness played a key role.

Along with patriotism, civic consciousness is the foundation for our entire nation to act with unity and determination. All Vietnamese people are very aware of their rights and responsibilities towards the future of the country.

Education needs breakthroughs from mechanism, people to the companionship of the whole society

Resolution No. 71-NQ/TU dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development is considered an important turning point, removing many bottlenecks in the education sector.

The Resolution has looked straight at the truth, systematically and deeply pointed out the limitations and weaknesses of the education sector, from regional differences, inadequacies in teaching staff, facilities, etc. Correctly identifying the problem is the most important premise for subsequent solutions.

Notably, the Resolution has directly removed at least four of the biggest bottlenecks that have been holding back the development of Vietnamese education for many years.

When teachers are respected, given professional autonomy, and work in a humane pedagogical environment, that is the motivation for them to devote themselves.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Hai (Cau Giay Ward) shared that 10 years ago, he bought a house in residential group 11, Xuan Phuong Ward. Because he did not have a need to live there and often went on business trips, he let his cousin stay and take care of it. In early 2025, due to economic difficulties, Mr. Hai decided to sell the land.

However, when he brought the customer to see the house, his cousin showed an unpleasant attitude, causing obstacles, making the buyer discouraged. To protect his rights, Mr. Hai was forced to declare that he would sue in court, then his cousin promised to move out after 6 months.

“According to the current Housing Law, a handwritten document is enough to be legally valid. It only takes a few minutes for the lender to create a “legal document” to ensure his legitimate rights,” said Lawyer Truong Thanh Duc.

Lawyer Truong Thanh Duc further warned that for real estate without a "red book", the homeowner should absolutely not lend it out because if a dispute arises, the homeowner will lose time, effort, and money, and even "invite trouble".

On the afternoon of August 28, Hanoi Moi Newspaper coordinated with the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam to organize a discussion with the theme "To make Hanoi become the cultural industrial center of the region and the world".

At the seminar, Associate Professor Dr. Bui Hoai Son emphasized: "Hanoi has a lot of potential and advantages to become a center for performing arts and entertainment not only in the country, but also in the region."

Head of the Heritage Management Department (Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports) Pham Thi Lan Anh said that Hanoi currently possesses a rich heritage treasure with nearly 6,000 relics, 1,793 cultural heritages, 1,300 craft villages and about 1,500 festivals... This is an extremely large resource, creating the foundation for the sustainable development of the capital's culture as well as for the cultural industry.

Considering that Hanoi has great advantages in traditional cultural resources and the position of the Capital - where the country's elite gather, to effectively develop the cultural industry, exploit existing advantages, and create a difference compared to other localities, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quang Long suggested that mobilizing and developing a creative team is very important.
