MU has the advantage of signing Gyokeres
In the process of searching for a striker for the new season, MU is said to be taking the "pole" in the race to sign Viktor Gyokeres.
There have been conflicting reports about Gyokeres' destination recently, but according to The Sun, the Swedish striker is keen on a move to Old Trafford.
The relationship with coach Ruben Amorim was one of the important factors for Gyokeres to make his choice. Besides, MU also promised to give him high treatment.
Gyokeres is one of the most effective strikers in the 2024/25 season. The 27-year-old wants to return to conquer the Premier League, where he was a member of Brighton but did not have the opportunity to play.
Arsenal want Casado
Despite signing Martin Zubimendi, Arsenal are still looking for more midfielders and the target that Mikel Arteta is interested in is young player Marc Casado.
Arsenal have parted ways with Jorginho, while Thomas Partey is also likely to leave Emirates after June 30, so adding a midfielder is essential to compete on many fronts.
Casado has had an outstanding season for Barca, with his passing and attacking ability very good. Arteta believes he would suit the style of football that Arsenal operate.
Barca will welcome young talent Marc Bernal back from injury, so they do not rule out selling Casado if the price is right. Arsenal are expecting a deal of around 40 million euros.
Chelsea complete Bynoe-Gittens deal
Chelsea continue to be the main players in the transfer market, reaching an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for youngster Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.
A former member of both Chelsea and Man City's academies, Gittens only really exploded at Dortmund, despite the disruption caused by Covid-19 and a serious injury.
Gittens is considered a complete winger, scoring 12 goals for Dortmund in the 2024/25 season. He returned to Chelsea in the hope of winning a starting spot, as well as participating in the 2026 World Cup with England.
During the recent negotiations, Chelsea accepted a price of 65 million euros (55 million pounds), a deal that brought high profits to Dortmund - double the cost the club just spent to recruit Jobe Bellingham.
