In early 2025, the news that singer Hong Nhung had breast cancer made many fans worried. Fortunately, throughout the treatment process, the singer remained resilient. She also regularly shared daily moments and optimistic views on life with the audience.

Recently, singer Hong Nhung posted a series of cheerful photos of her trip to New Zealand with her two children on her personal page. Besides the lovely moments, "Miss Bong" also spoke up about the information that she had made a will that had previously caused a stir in public opinion.

Hong Nhung affirmed: "Writing a will for Hong Nhung is a practical and civilized thing, which I started doing after having a child. It is not at all "preparing to leave" as some articles have written. "Bending" statements leading to misunderstandings for the audience is something Hong Nhung does not want."

The 7X female singer expressed her wish that everyone would spread positive information, because that is the way for women facing similar situations to have more support and motivation.

Regarding her current health status after 4 months of cancer treatment, Hong Nhung shared: "Although unfortunately she has cancer, Hong Nhung tries to stay calm, accept reality and trust in highly qualified doctors. The treatment process is with gratitude and the desire to spread a positive spirit, love life, love people, accompany, sympathize, share feelings and information with women, whether sick or not, they should be screened early."

Previously, singer Hong Nhung underwent the third round of radiation therapy after surgery in Singapore. After that, the doctor transferred her treatment to Vietnam to take care of her two children. The singer was moved to share about the concern and encouragement from those around her: "I received thousands of messages about women seeing that the singer was sick and also went for checkups and screening... I know, I am not alone". The two children Tom and Tep are a great source of spiritual encouragement to help Hong Nhung overcome the difficulties during the treatment process.

As Hong Nhung shared on her 55th birthday in March 2025, she expressed her wish that when she passed away, she would "drop a small handful of ashes on the Red River". The remaining details in the will were not disclosed.

Hong Nhung discovered she had cancer at the end of 2024, when she was preparing for a live show. It was not until early 2025 that the singer shared this information with the public. She sent a message to those in the same situation: "I hope that if you read negative information from any source, it will not diminish your spirit of optimism and brightness - because singer Bong is also living the same way."
