Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province: Congratulations to Buddhist establishments on the occasion of Vesak 2025

On the occasion of Vesak Buddha's Birthday (Buddhist calendar 2569 - Gregorian calendar 2025), on May 9, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province organized many delegations of officials to visit and congratulate Buddhist establishments in the province.

* The delegation led by Mr. Huynh Huu Tri - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited, congratulated and presented gifts to monks, nuns and Buddhists at many Buddhist establishments in Bac Lieu City, including: the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province, Long Phuoc Pagoda, Truc Lam Bac Lieu Zen Monastery and the Executive Committee of the Pure Land Buddhist Lay Association of the province.

At the places he visited, Mr. Huynh Huu Tri sent his best wishes on the occasion of Buddha's birthday to the Venerables, Venerables, Venerable Nuns, and all monks, nuns, and Buddhists. At the same time, he acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive contributions of Buddhist organizations and monasteries in accompanying the government, mobilizing monks, nuns, and Buddhists to strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; promoting the tradition of "protecting the nation and bringing peace to the people", building a healthy cultural and spiritual life in the community. At the same time, he expressed his wish that the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province would continue to build the great national unity bloc, religious unity, carry out patriotic emulation movements, volunteer activities, etc., contributing to promoting the province's economy to continue to develop, and the people's lives to become increasingly prosperous.

* The delegation led by Mr. Pham Minh Luyen - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department visited and congratulated at the following locations: the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Phuoc Long District and the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hong Dan District. At the places visited, the delegation congratulated the 2025 Buddha's Birthday and acknowledged the contributions of the Venerables, monks, and Buddhists in the process of local socio-economic development.

At the places visited, Colonel Le Thanh Hung, on behalf of the provincial leaders, acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Buddhist followers in the past time in patriotic emulation movements and socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security. At the same time, he sent his best wishes to monks, nuns and Buddhists to celebrate a joyful, happy and peaceful Buddha's birthday.
