Provincial Party Committee organizes training conference to protect the Party's ideological foundation

On the afternoon of June 9, the Provincial Party Committee held a training conference to protect the Party's ideological foundation and fight against erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the new situation.

Attending the conference were comrades: Duong Duc Huy, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee 35; Giang Seo Van, member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of the leaders of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee; representatives of departments, branches, unions, socio -political organizations in the province; leaders, cadres, experts of the specialized departments of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department...

Comrade Duong Duc Huy, Standing Committee Member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the 35 Provincial Steering Committee delivered the opening speech at the conference.

Resolution 35-NQ/TW of the Politburo has determined: Firmly protecting the Party's ideological foundation and effectively fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints is a fundamental, important and vital content of the Party building and rectification work; it is the most important task of the entire political system, the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army. In the past time, the Steering Committee 35 at the provincial and district levels has proactively and effectively advised on the implementation of the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints. In the context and requirements of the new tasks, training and fostering for members of the Steering Committees at all levels is really necessary, thereby creating unity in leadership and direction and equipping them with important knowledge and expertise to firmly protect the Party's ideological foundation and fight against erroneous and hostile viewpoints.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, comrade Duong Duc Huy, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, asked delegates to promote a sense of responsibility, grasp the issues to apply to the activities of agencies, units and localities. Continue to resolutely and persistently effectively implement the main tasks and solutions set out in Resolution 35-NQ/TW of the Politburo. After the conference, train and advise Party committees, agencies and units to build core forces and actively organize the fight against the plots and distorted arguments of hostile forces.

At the conference, delegates were directly informed by Comrade Vu Trong Ha, Chief of Office, full-time member of the Central Steering Committee 35, about methods and skills to identify sabotage tricks of hostile forces and the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints; at the same time, they were equipped with basic knowledge and skills for propaganda activities, fighting against erroneous, reactionary and distorted viewpoints; identifying plots and tricks of sabotage activities of hostile forces, reactionary and opportunistic political forces in cyberspace and some prevention and control solutions in the new situation.
