At the program, the Organizing Committee sponsored 1,300 meals for the Company's staff, union members and employees. Each meal cost 57,000 VND (an increase of 37,000 VND/meal compared to the daily meal of the Company's employees), of which the Provincial Federation of Labor supported 20,000 VND/meal, and the Company supported 17,000 VND/meal.
Speaking at the program, Comrade Nguyen Hai Long, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation praised the Board of Directors and the Executive Board of the Trade Union of Maxport Limited Company (Vietnam) - Nam Dinh Branch for organizing the "Trade Union Meal" for workers. At the same time, he affirmed: The Trade Union will always accompany, continue to care for, protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers. Organizing the "Trade Union Meal" not only has the practical meaning of increasing food rations, ensuring nutrition, food safety and hygiene, taking care of the health of union members and workers, but is also an opportunity to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers, thereby strengthening the spirit of solidarity, attachment, building harmonious and stable labor relations between workers, Trade Union organizations and enterprises.
On this occasion, the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Board of Directors of Maxport Limited Company (Vietnam) - Nam Dinh Branch presented 100 gifts (each worth 800 thousand VND) to 100 union members and employees in difficult circumstances of the Company. The Executive Board of the Company's Union also presented 140 birthday gifts to 140 workers.
