The Exhibition of Agriculture and Environment at the Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) from August 28 to September 5 is arranged into 2 sub-areas: Exhibition of Achievements of Agriculture and Environment and Exhibition of Handicrafts and OCOP Products.
This information was given at a press conference on activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Agriculture and Environment sector, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment on August 18 in Hanoi.
The Agriculture and Environment Exhibition is one of the major and key activities in 2025 of the industry to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the Agriculture and Environment sector's traditional day. This is an opportunity to introduce and honor the great achievements that the Agriculture and Environment sector has achieved in 80 years of formation and development.
The Exhibition of Achievements in Agriculture and Environment has the theme “80 Years of Agriculture and Environment Development for National Prosperity and Sustainable Future”.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien, Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) said that the exhibition of achievements in the Agriculture and Environment sector is organized with spaces with 5 main themes: Origin and development (1945-1986); Innovation, integration (1986-2020) and outstanding achievements in the period 2020-2025; Environmental protection, resources and forestry; Future vision "Technological innovation, green future combined with experience" and International exchange and global integration.
The Origin and Development space (1945-1986) shows the journey of overcoming difficulties of the agricultural sector, contributing to the resistance war, national construction, rice for the frontline during the subsidized economic period, the cooperative building movement, displaying images, artifacts, and documents about Vietnamese agriculture during the resistance war and building socialism in the North.
The Innovation and Integration Space (1986-2020) and outstanding achievements in the period 2020-2025 demonstrate achievements in new rural construction, food security, WTO integration, poverty reduction, digital transformation, circular economy, OCOP program, organic agriculture, export growth (rice, coffee, fruit, seafood, wooden furniture...).
The Environmental Protection, Resources and Forestry space introduces the orientation of sustainable agricultural development; forestry development, climate change response, nature conservation, circular economy, environmental treatment (air, water); the role of state management of resources, land and environment.
At the Future Vision space “Technology innovation, green future combined with experience” will aim to introduce high-tech agriculture, precision agriculture, renewable energy, smart remote sensing monitoring; The future of agriculture and environment associated with sustainable development.
The International Exchange and Global Integration space demonstrates effective cooperation with international organizations: FAO, IFAD, ASEAN, EU, RCEP... and typical bilateral cooperation with countries such as Japan, Korea...
Also within the framework of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment will organize an Exhibition of handicrafts and OCOP products from August 28 to September 5.
The exhibition of handicrafts and OCOP products is divided into 5 areas: Heritage journey; Contemporary creativity; Cultural exchange; Cultural exchange; Trade and connection to the world.
Space for promoting, connecting, exchanging and experiencing OCOP products is also organized within the framework of the Exhibition of handicrafts and OCOP products.
At the two exhibition areas of the Agriculture and Environment sector at the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, there are interactive spaces, direct experiences for the audience about Vietnam's strong agricultural products and handicrafts; the exhibition space can also take interactive photos, visit with VR, 3D/4D projection. Visitors can experience the exhibition with all 5 senses.
In particular, the entire exhibition of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment will not only be held in person but also open online for 1 year from August 28, 2025 to August 28, 2026 so that a large number of people can visit the achievements of the Agriculture and Environment sector.
The online exhibition area of the Agriculture and Environment sector within the framework of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) will be designed into a multi-dimensional, modern digital space, integrating virtual reality technology (VR), 3D simulation, online interaction, with 5 main thematic areas, demonstrating the historical depth, current achievements and future vision of the sector.
The online exhibition area for handicrafts and OCOP products of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment will also open from August 28, 2025 to August 28, 2026./.
