Organize weekly concerts in front of the City Theater to serve residents and tourists

The Ho Chi Minh City Center for Performing Arts and Cinema in collaboration with Sweden Auto will organize a concert in front of the City Theater, at 8:00 a.m. every Saturday, from September until the end of 2023. In addition, on Sunday, September 10, there will be a program to promote traditional Vietnamese music , called "Autumn and Forever".

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy concerts in the center of Ho Chi Minh City every Saturday morning.

The City Theater is a multi-purpose theater over 120 years old, located in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, with typical French architecture of the late 19th century. This place is also a familiar destination for international tourists when visiting Ho Chi Minh City.

The Opera House has long been an ideal weekend destination not only for city residents but also for tourists, both domestic and foreign. If city residents and tourists are looking for a place to experience unique and special music, this is the perfect destination.

The Saturday Concert is a musical event featuring timeless Nordic melodies from the 70s to the 21st century. The fusion of music will take viewers into a diverse world with 18 exciting weeks, each week is a special musical decade. The program lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes, including 15 performances.

In addition, the program "Autumn and Forever" with the theme "Love Song of the Country" with excellent songs by famous musicians such as Tran Long An, Nguyen Tan Kiet, Ton That Lap and La Huu Vang through works such as "A Time of Youth", "City March", "Trust Song", "Pink Night", "Oh Fatherland, We Have Heard"... The program also honors Ho Chi Minh City through songs such as "Southern Youth Song", "Unification Song", "Light the Fire, My Dear", "Vietnam, Oh"...
