How powerful is the missile complex produced by Vietnam displayed at the defense exhibition?

One of the modern military equipment researched and produced by Vietnam itself, displayed in the outdoor area of the International Defense Exhibition, is the Truong Son surface-to-sea missile complex.

According to the information letter provided at the exhibition area, the Truong Son land-to-sea missile complex was researched and developed by the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group ( Viettel ).

The components of the Truong Son VCS-01 missile complex include: VTRV-01 missile loading vehicle, VCPV-01 command and control vehicle, VLV-01 launcher vehicle, VRS-MCX target warning and indication radar and VSM-01A Song Hong anti-ship missile.

In this Truong Son complex, there will be an anti-ship missile called Song Hong VSM-01A, which is the main combat component, with the mission of intercepting surface warships.

The Song Hong VSM-01A anti-ship missile has subsonic flight speed and a range of up to 80km.

Along with that is the radar system for tracking and indicating targets of the Truong Son complex with a scanning range of about 200km, which can meet the ability to destroy enemy surface ships and targets at sea.

In particular, the tilting launcher of the Truong Son missile complex with its modular design can be easily reloaded after each attack. The vehicles carrying the equipment are equipped with automatic tire inflation technology, helping the vehicle to maneuver even when some tires are damaged.
