In May, Co Island welcomed about 800 visitors, with revenue reaching 75 million VND, an increase of 35% compared to previous months. In particular, the tour guide team proactively welcomed, guided and explained to 350 visitors in the first month of operation, a 5-fold increase compared to the previous month when there was only 1 person in charge.
The team plans, assigns schedules and is ready to be present 100% of the time when many visitors come, especially during peak times such as weekends and holidays, ensuring there is always someone on duty during weekdays.
The tour guide team at Co Island officially started operating on May 1st with 5 tour guides who are teachers from local kindergartens and primary schools and 10 collaborators who are employees of the Co Island Service Team. This is a new feature in the tourism activities at Co Island.
