Seminar "Godmother"

On August 11th, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association organized a seminar titled "Godmother - Lighting Up the Future" to evaluate the results after one year of implementing the Godmother program and to award prizes to students with outstanding academic achievements in the 2023-2024 school year, as well as to present gifts for the new school year.

Responding to the "Godmother" program launched by the Vietnam Women's Union, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association has actively mobilized organizations and individuals to participate. With the motto "Children always have a mother," after more than a year of implementing the "Godmother" program, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association has sponsored 20 orphaned children in the districts of Lam Thao, Thanh Thuy, Phu Ninh, Thanh Son, Doan Hung, Tam Nong, Phu Tho town, and Viet Tri city, with a total budget of over 600 million VND through various forms such as: one-time savings account donations, and monthly financial support ranging from 500,000 to 1 million VND per month until the children reach 18 years of age.

The Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association awarded prizes to students who achieved the titles of Excellent Student and Advanced Student.

The Provincial Women's Union presented gifts to the children on the occasion of the new school year.

At the seminar "Godmothers - Lighting Up the Future," delegates heard stories and shared experiences from godmothers about their journey of caring for children, and the joy and happiness of the children when they have godmothers from the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association as their mentors. The loving embrace of the godmothers has given the children more motivation to overcome difficulties, rise in life, and strive to become useful citizens for society.

On this occasion, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association awarded prizes to 5 students with outstanding academic achievements and 15 students who showed effort in their studies. At the same time, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association, the Provincial Women's Union, and the Women Entrepreneurs Club of Doan Hung District also presented gifts to the students to mark the start of the new school year.
