The Russia-US summit between President Putin and President Trump ended successfully.

At around 11:30 a.m. on August 15 (local time), the talks between the two Russian and American leaders, with the participation of close aides, officially began. Photo: X.

After a meeting lasting more than two and a half hours, the two Russian and US leaders held a press conference to announce the results of the conference. "Russia is genuinely interested in ending the Ukrainian conflict and ensuring a lasting solution to the Ukrainian problem," Putin said. However, President Putin said any lasting solution must address the root causes of the conflict and take into account Russia's legitimate concerns.
