On the evening of June 30, fireworks were set off at the Eastern Cultural Center to celebrate the unification of Hai Duong - Hai Phong.

On June 28, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City issued a specific document directing the fireworks display to celebrate the merger of Hai Duong - Hai Phong.

According to the plan, in Hai Duong, the fireworks display will take place at the Xu Dong Cultural Center with a combination of high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks. Specifically, there will be 500 high-altitude fireworks and 120 low-altitude fireworks sets launched for 12 minutes, expected to be from 9:15 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. on June 30.

Hai Phong City People's Committee requested Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant departments, branches, units and localities to coordinate with Hai Phong City Military Command to develop and implement a plan to organize fireworks display at the above shooting location to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

The Hai Phong City Military Command presided over and coordinated the development of a fireworks display plan to serve the cultural and artistic festival celebrating the unification of Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city.

Also at the same time, in Hai Phong City, a fireworks display took place in the backyard of the City Theater with the same quantity and content of fireworks as in Hai Duong.
