Honoring the new Associate Professor of Nghe An Medicine

SKĐS - Nghe An Eye Hospital has just held a ceremony to honor the new Associate Professor Tran Tat Thang. The event demonstrates the determination to improve the quality of human resources in the health sector of Nghe An province.

At the ceremony, Dr. Tran Tat Thang was recognized as meeting the standards of Associate Professor and received the Third Class Labor Medal. This is a worthy reward for his persistent contributions, and at the same time marks an important step forward for the ophthalmology profession in Nghe An.

The Director of the Department of Health said that by November 2025, the entire Nghe An health sector will have 6 Associate Professors; this year alone, 2 people have met the standards. Although the number is still modest, this is a signal showing positive movements in training, research and expansion of specialized techniques in the province.

New Associate Professor Tran Tat Thang expressed his emotion and gratitude for the trust of the State Council of Professors, provincial leaders, Department of Health and Nghe An Eye Hospital. "Today's title is not only an honor but also a responsibility, a motivation for me to continue to make efforts in training, scientific research and improving the quality of treatment for patients," Associate Professor Tran Tat Thang said, at the same time, thanking his colleagues for accompanying him throughout the process of building and developing the province's ophthalmology department.

Associate Professor Tran Tat Thang affirmed that he will continue to work with the hospital to invest more heavily in specialized techniques, expand professional cooperation and transfer techniques to lower levels, helping Nghe An people access modern ophthalmology services right in the locality.

The ceremony was also an opportunity for Nghe An Eye Hospital to review its training and scientific research activities and honor outstanding lecturers who have contributed to creating a sustainable foundation for the hospital's development over the years.
