On the morning of August 28, in Hanoi, General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam attended the opening ceremony of the National Achievements Exhibition celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

General Secretary To Lam attended the opening ceremony of the National Achievements Exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day .

Also attending this solemn ceremony were comrades: Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister; Tran Thanh Man , Chairman of the National Assembly; and many leaders and former leaders of the Party, National Assembly, Government, ministries, departments, branches and localities.

On the side of Ca Mau province, there were comrades: Lu Van Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Ho Hai, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Pham Van Thieu, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Thanh Ngai, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Ngo Vu Thang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai; Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai attended the opening ceremony.

The opening ceremony was broadcast live on Vietnam Television and Voice of Vietnam.

With the theme “80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness”, the exhibition not only introduces the country's outstanding achievements but also has the active, proud and responsible participation of Ca Mau province, the southernmost land of the Fatherland.

The art program to welcome the opening ceremony had an impressive opening when the iconic image of "Ca Mau Cape" appeared next to iconic images of the capital Hanoi and other localities, affirming the position of Ca Mau, ready to join the whole country in entering an era of development, prosperity and happiness.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the great significance of the exhibition, which is an opportunity for all people to look back on the 80-year journey of building and developing the country, thereby adding momentum for future development.

From August 28 to September 5, the exhibition will be open free of charge at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi City). With the largest exhibition space ever, the event promises to be an attractive destination for people and tourists.

The exhibition content is divided into three main sections. The general exhibition section (Kim Quy Exhibition Hall) with the theme "Vietnam - Journey to a new era", this area introduces outstanding achievements in key areas such as: industry, agriculture, national defense - security, foreign affairs, health, education and culture.

The outdoor exhibition area with the theme "Integration and Development" focuses on introducing Vietnamese culture and people with 4,000 years of history, the diversity of 54 ethnic groups and the richness of resources in the three regions.

International exhibition area and 12 cultural industries (Exhibition Hall Block A) "Integration and Creativity", displaying products and achievements in the fields of culture and arts.

With the theme “The land of Ca Mau - 80 years of National Day, pride of our homeland”, the exhibition area of ​​Ca Mau attracted special attention from visitors. After the opening ceremony, the leaders of Ca Mau province visited and encouraged the staff at the exhibition area.

The iconic image of “Ca Mau Cape” appeared alongside iconic images of Hanoi and other localities in the art program, affirming that Ca Mau province is an inseparable part of Vietnam and is ready to join the whole country in entering an era of prosperity and happiness.

During the exhibition, the Ca Mau exhibition area will host many unique cultural and artistic activities: performances of traditional music, cultural and artistic exchanges with Ninh Binh province... promising to bring interesting experiences to visitors.
