Presenting 1 billion VND in emergency aid to union members and workers in Khanh Hoa who suffered heavy losses after the flood, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Huynh Thanh Xuan requested that all levels of Khanh Hoa Trade Unions promptly take action, ensuring timely support, helping workers stabilize their lives soon.
At the program, 40 union members and workers in Nam Nha Trang and Tay Nha Trang wards with heavy damage received direct support, each worth 2 million VND from the General Confederation's budget.

Many trade union units across the country also joined hands to support Khanh Hoa union members: Hai Phong Labor Federation 200 million VND; Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation 150 million VND; Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation 100 million VND; Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation 100 million VND.
Immediately after the ceremony, Vice President Huynh Thanh Xuan visited Ms. Phan Thi Kim Hong (Labor Union of HTH Production - Trading Co., Ltd., Dien Phu Industrial Park). Ms. Hong's family suffered a collapsed house wall after the flood receded, all of their property was damaged; before that, the water rose almost to the roof, forcing the whole family to climb onto the roof to avoid the disaster. Mr. Xuan gave immediate support of 2 million VND and requested the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation to quickly complete the documents to consider supporting the construction of a "Union Shelter" house for her.

According to the Vice President of Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, initial statistics show that about 7,000 union members and workers were affected by the flood. In the immediate future, the Provincial Federation of Labor will allocate more than VND9.5 billion in emergency support, including: VND2 million/person for cases of severe damage from the General Confederation of Labor; VND2 billion to support union members whose housing was damaged; the remaining cases will receive VND1 million in support.
