Ho Chi Minh City trains spokespeople for departments, districts and Thu Duc City

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoi - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City - said that the role of spokespersons is becoming increasingly important, not only as people expressing the opinions of the agency but also as representatives of the principles and goals that the unit is aiming for.

This poses a huge challenge of how to communicate messages accurately and effectively, while ensuring transparency and honesty.

The leaders of the City Department of Information and Communications hope that through the training course, students will have the opportunity to learn, discuss, and develop skills to effectively perform speaking, communication, and communication tasks with the press.

This time, the City Press Center organized 3 training and refresher courses. Each course lasted 2 days. During the course, students will receive knowledge and experience from journalist Le Van Nghiem - Vice President of the Digital Media Association and experts in the field of journalism and communication on 6 topics such as some basic regulations of the Press Law, Decree 09/2017/ND-CP.

Sharing about the implementation of the Press Law, Decree 09/2017/ND-CP on speaking and providing information to the press in the past time; press relations, answering press interviews;

Skills in organizing press conferences, writing press releases; media crisis and crisis handling, some situations to note; practice answering interviews, writing press releases.
