On March 7, the Management Board of Traffic Construction Investment Projects of Ho Chi Minh City (abbreviated as Traffic Board) reported to the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City on the preparation for the groundbreaking of the My Thuy intersection project (Thu Duc City) - phase 3.

In phase 3, the Project will build a flyover branch across the intersection in the direction of Ring Road 2 (right branch) with a scale of 4 car lanes and build Ky Ha 3 bridge (right branch).

My Thuy intersection has completed and put into use a number of items such as overpasses and underpasses.

The total investment for phase 3 is 312 billion VND, invested by the Traffic Department. The project will start on March 14, 2025 and be completed in April 2026.

Currently, My Thuy intersection has started construction of phase 1 and phase 2 packages, in which some items such as the overpass and underpass leading to Cat Lai port have been completed and put into use.

The total investment for the construction and installation of the 3 phases is 1,361 billion VND (phase 3 alone is 312 billion VND). The compensation capital for site clearance is 1,624 billion VND, with the People's Committee of Thu Duc City as the investor.

According to the plan of the Traffic Department, the entire My Thuy intersection project will be completed by April 30, 2026 to relieve traffic congestion to Cat Lai port.
