On the morning of July 31, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction coordinated with Phuong Trang Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company - FUTA Bus Lines to organize a ceremony to announce 35 subsidized bus routes operating in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event not only marks an important first step in the roadmap for restructuring urban transport towards sustainability and environmental friendliness, but also demonstrates Ho Chi Minh City's determination to increase the rate of people using public transport, contributing to reducing pressure on traffic infrastructure and improving urban air quality.
Specifically, from August 1, 2025, 35 subsidized bus routes (27 pure EV routes, 8 diesel routes) received by Phuong Trang Company will officially come into operation in Ho Chi Minh City, including:

With a fleet of 557 vehicles manufactured at the Kim Long Motor - Hue factory meeting international standards, Phuong Trang Company's electric and diesel bus routes are modernly designed, ensuring safety, comfort and flexible capacity from 30 - 40 seats, up to a maximum of 60 seats (depending on the route). Not only are these vehicles an environmentally friendly transportation solution, they also integrate advanced technology, providing maximum comfort and convenience for passengers.
