In her opening remarks, Ms. Vu Yen Oanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dong Ward and Head of the Organizing Committee, stated that the first-ever Tet flower market, named "Binh Dong Tet Flower Market," is not only a commercial activity serving Tet shopping needs but also a unique cultural and artistic space, connecting national traditions with the modern life of Ho Chi Minh City.

This year's flower market brings together more than 500 stalls from businesses, cooperatives, and gardeners from Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of Lam Dong, Tay Ninh, Khanh Hoa, Dong Thap , Vinh Long, etc., offering a diverse range of ornamental flowers, fruits, agricultural products, and regional specialties, creating a rich and vibrant springtime scene.
The highlights of the event include the "Common House" space – a place to connect and promote the distinctive products of various localities; the Calligrapher's Street with activities such as giving calligraphy blessings at the beginning of the spring; a traditional banh tet wrapping experience area; spring-themed miniature landscapes; and the vibrant "National Flag Street," spreading the spirit of unity and national pride.

Besides stalls selling ornamental plants, fruits, and agricultural products, there is also a food court, a stall selling OCOP products, and a communal house. Visitors can directly participate in the experience of wrapping banh tet (Vietnamese sticky rice cake) at the stall managed by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Dong Ward.
