Comrade Nguyen Van Duoc affirmed that the Netherlands is a country with strengths in water management, climate change adaptation, seaports, logistics and high-tech agriculture ... the areas that Ho Chi Minh City is prioritizing cooperation for sustainable development. The two sides have cooperated in the fields of climate change response and food security for a long time. Comrade Nguyen Van Duoc said that this opportunity brings many advantages but also many challenges so that the cooperation between the two sides will continue to be raised to new heights.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee hopes that in the coming time, the Dutch Consulate General will continue to act as a bridge to promote businesses of the two countries to strengthen connections and exchange experiences in areas such as clean energy, semiconductor chips, seaports, etc., in a direction consistent with the city's development strategy.

Ms. Raissa Marteaux thanked the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City for their warm welcome and affirmed that the Netherlands always attaches importance to the friendship and cooperation with Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular. Ms. Raissa Marteaux wishes to stand side by side with the city's development in the fields that the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City have proposed.
