According to initial information, before that, while in the house, Ms. PTN's family (residing in Xuan Phu village, Ky Xuan commune, Ky Anh district) heard the sound of chickens crowing in the garden.
When running out to check, the family was shocked to discover a python crawling into the garden to eat the chickens.
Mrs. N's family shouted and called some more people to come and capture the python.
After identifying the python as an endangered and rare wild animal, Ms. N's family quickly notified the Ky Xuan Commune Police and local authorities.
After that, the commune police informed the Ky Anh District Forest Protection Department to complete the procedures to receive and hand over to the authorities for care and release back into the natural environment.

This python weighs more than 10kg and is about 2.5 to 2.7m long.
This species of python has the scientific name Python molurus, is in the list of endangered, precious, and rare forest animals of group IIB and is in the Red Book of Vietnam animals, needs to be protected, preserved, and illegal hunting, exploitation, and trading are strictly prohibited.
