On July 24, more than 100 delegates from Agencies, Departments, Business Associations and female entrepreneurs of Da Nang and many provinces and cities across the country attended the workshop "AI and Information Security in the Digital Age" held in Da Nang city.
The workshop provided useful information on digital technology application solutions, promoting digital transformation, helping women-owned businesses make the most of the benefits brought by artificial intelligence. At the same time, the workshop also helped businesses equip themselves with basic knowledge about "digital defense", ensuring safety for business operations and development in the digital economy .

At the workshop, experts analyzed the development trends of artificial intelligence (AI) and its profound impacts on the way businesses operate and manage in the digital age. At the same time, experts emphasized the importance of identifying forms of cyber attacks that exploit AI, enhancing risk prevention, protecting data and privacy in cyberspace. These contents contribute to guiding businesses to apply AI safely, effectively and sustainably in the digital age.
Together with female entrepreneurs for sustainable digital transformation
Ms. Le Thi Nam Phuong, President of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Da Nang City, affirmed: "Digital transformation and application of artificial intelligence are no longer a trend but have become an inevitable requirement for businesses. This is also an opportunity for female entrepreneurs to affirm their pioneering role, adapt quickly and create sustainable values for businesses and the community."
Appreciating the importance of equipping businesses with knowledge, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Senior Expert on Gender and Social Development - The Asia Foundation in Vietnam, shared: "Digital transformation will be truly effective and sustainable when the human factor is placed at the center. When businesses are fully equipped with the right knowledge, tools and mindset, they will not only respond better to information security risks but also be able to develop firmly in the digital environment. Therefore, programs like today contribute to creating a space for learning, connecting and taking concrete actions for a safe, comprehensive and sustainable digital future."
Sharing the same view, Ms. Mai Thi Dieu Huyen, Vice President in charge of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council, commented: "Artificial intelligence is the extended arm of innovative thinking, and digital defense is the safety belt for sustainable development in the digital age. When female entrepreneurs possess both, they not only lead their businesses but also contribute to creating a safe, sustainable and inclusive digital future."
At the discussion session with the topic "Application of AI and ensuring information security in business operations" with the participation and sharing of speakers and experts from UN Women, BIDV, IPPG Group; Blockchain Technology Institute and Artificial Intelligence ABAII; Vietnam Sales & Marketing Directors Club - CSMO Vietnam, specifically discussed the challenges in applying AI to information security risk management of businesses, innovation in management thinking and improving business leadership capacity in the digital age, especially for businesses owned and led by women.
The practical stories and experiences shared by female leaders, experts and guests inspired female entrepreneurs attending the workshop on the spirit of innovation and proactively applying digital technology safely to lead business development in the new context.
