During the two days of June 26 and 27, the trainees were taught and trained by lecturer - journalist Phan Tung Son, Deputy Head of the Representative Office of the People's Army Newspaper in Ho Chi Minh City on specialized topics and skills including: The role of interviews and portrait articles in print and online newspapers; trends in approaching the genre of journalistic interviews.

Sharing portrait writing skills to meet readers' information needs as well as the effectiveness and positive impact of the work on social life; how to develop, structure, methods, and skills to conduct a good press interview, an outstanding portrait article, etc.

The training course also spends a lot of time for lecturers and students to discuss practical issues; practice exercises, and practice skills around the specialized content being conveyed.
