With the desire to fill the hearts of children with many gaps in their beautiful memories, this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children, in collaboration with sponsors, organized a festival with the theme of Loving Moon for more than 350 disabled, orphaned and disadvantaged children.
Loving moon brings joy to disabled, orphaned and disadvantaged children on this year's Mid-Autumn Festival
In his opening speech, Chairman of the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children Nguyen Kim Hoang said: "Every Mid-Autumn Festival, each of us is eager to return to our childhood, remembering beautiful memories. We are nostalgic for the bustling sound of frog drums from the beginning of the village to the end of the street, remembering the tiny but sweet and loving moon cakes. Remembering Uncle Ho's letter to children across the country... However, those familiar, simple images filled with joy every full moon night seem too far away for the unfortunate children.
Therefore, the Love Moon program is organized to create opportunities for children to interact, meet, have fun, and participate in folk games, dance and sing with friends and family. Through that, it partly spreads warmth, love, and responsibility to help disabled children overcome themselves, become useful people for their families and society.
Children at Nguyen Dinh Chieu Secondary School are delighted with traditional gifts this year on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival.
On this occasion, the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children officially launched its own website called "Aspiration". The website was created with the aim of becoming a solid and reliable support for more than 12,000 disabled children in the city, a bridge between the Association and Party committees at all levels, the government, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations as well as the whole society.
"Aspiration" will be a place to light the fire for the efforts of disabled children to rise up, a place to spread, inspire, transmit faith, love and at the same time encourage everyone to join hands to help children in general and disabled children in particular towards a bright future.
