Taking advantage of the good weather, construction day and night completed the technical traffic opening of Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City

(DN) - On November 25, the Government's working delegation led by Party Central Committee member and Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh inspected the actual construction progress of Component 3 of the Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City project through Dong Nai province. Receiving and participating in the working delegation was Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha.

Reporting to the working delegation, the leader of the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board (investor) said: Component Project 3, Ring Road 3 Project - Ho Chi Minh City section passing through Dong Nai province has a length of more than 11km (excluding Component Project 1A); the starting point of the route is at Km0+000 in Phuoc An commune, Dong Nai province; the end point of the route is at Nhon Trach bridge in Nhon Trach commune, Dong Nai province. The total investment of the project is nearly 2.6 trillion VND.

In particular, with Component Project 3, the investment will be made to build 5km of expressway from Km0+000 to Km5+000, connecting with Component Project 1A at the intersection with Provincial Road 25B. At the same time, the investment will be made to build parallel roads along both sides of the expressway for the entire section from Km0+000 to the beginning of Nhon Trach Bridge, including 2 bridges over Rach Chay River on the parallel road.

Component 3 of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 Project has 3 main construction packages. To date, the total value of the packages has reached more than 1.1 trillion VND, equivalent to more than 60% of the signed contract value. Contractors are currently focusing on maximizing human resources and equipment, speeding up construction progress to complete the technical traffic opening of the project before December 19, 2025 as required by the Prime Minister.

Speaking at the project site, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh acknowledged the efforts of the team of engineers and workers who have been working directly at the site. He also emphasized: This is an important project to connect Ho Chi Minh City with Dong Nai province. When completed, the project will promote investment efficiency for other projects that have been and are being invested, create new development space, exploit land use potential, build a sustainable and modern urban system. Thereby, contributing to the successful implementation of the country's socio-economic development goals and tasks according to the resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party.

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh also shared: The remaining time until December 19, 2025 is not much, relevant units need to take advantage of good weather, increase shifts, human resources, and machinery to work day and night to complete the goal of technical traffic opening of the project before December 19, 2025 as required by the Prime Minister; speed up the progress but also ensure the quality of construction.

At the inspection, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh presented gifts and encouraged the project construction forces.
