Accordingly, 176 disabled students were awarded scholarships (including 66 junior high school students, 74 high school students, 7 college students, and 29 university students) with a total amount of 959 million VND.
This is the first phase of the Scholarship Program to Support Students to Overcome Difficulties and Study Well in the 2025-2026 school year. In the coming time, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education will continue to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and communes and wards to award scholarships to more than 450 disabled primary school students with a total amount of over 1.35 billion VND.

The scholarship program to support students to overcome difficulties and study well is carried out annually. In particular, the scholarship for primary school students is 3 million VND/scholarship; for secondary school students is 4 million VND/scholarship; for high school, vocational school, college students is 5 million VND/scholarship; for university students is 10 million VND/scholarship. In the 13 previous scholarship awarding rounds, nearly 3,400 students have been supported with a total budget of more than 13.5 billion VND.

This year alone, according to the President of the Dong Nai Province Education Promotion Association, Le Thi My Phuong, along with the Scholarship Program to Support Students to Overcome Difficulties and Study Well, on the occasion of the opening of the 2025-2026 school year, the Dong Nai Province Education Promotion Fund has supported more than 2,300 scholarships worth 2.35 billion VND for students in 8 border communes, 2 heroic communes, 6 disadvantaged communes and 18 schools in the province.

Speaking at the scholarship awarding ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son emotionally expressed: We are here not only to award scholarships but also to honor the shining examples of extraordinary determination, strong will and strong aspiration of disabled students.
This scholarship program has truly become a meaningful activity, with profound humanity. This is not only material support but also a bridge of love; it is the sharing and encouragement of the whole community, helping the children to firmly overcome difficulties to conquer knowledge and affirm their own values.
