Presenting the Consular Acceptance Certificate to the Consul General of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City

On October 7, Director of the Consular Department Doan Hoang Minh presented the Consular Acceptance Certificate to Ms. Carolina Tinangon, the new Consul General of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Consular Department Doan Hoang Minh congratulated Ms. Carolina Tinangon on her new position, believing that with her experience, the Consul General will contribute to further promoting the Vietnam-Indonesia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

The Director of the Consular Department affirmed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Consular Department and Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs) as well as the Vietnamese authorities will always accompany the Consulate General and create favorable conditions for the new Indonesian Consul General to complete his term of office in Vietnam.

The leaders of the Consular Department also hope that the two sides will continue to coordinate closely to protect the legitimate rights and interests of citizens of the two countries, facilitating exchanges and travel between the two countries.

Ms. Carolina Tinangon thanked Director Doan Hoang Minh for taking the time to receive and present the Consular Acceptance Certificate.

Expressing his joy at the positive developments in the traditional friendship between the two countries, the new Consul General affirmed that he will make every effort to promote bilateral relations in many areas of mutual interest, including consular cooperation.
