Awarding the decision to appoint the Chief Justice and Deputy Chief Justice of the new Quang Tri Provincial People's Court

This afternoon, June 30, the Provincial People's Court held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court to appoint Chief Justice and Deputy Chief Justice of the People's Courts of Quang Tri Province after the merger. Provincial Party Committee member and Chief Justice of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Court Nguyen Huu Tuyen chaired the ceremony. Attending were representatives of the leadership of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Court.

Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court Nguyen Huu Tuyen presented the decision to the Chief Justices and Deputy Chief Justices of the Regional People's Courts.

Pursuant to Resolution No. 81/2025/UBTVQH dated June 27, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the establishment of provincial-level People's Courts and regional People's Courts, the new Quang Tri Provincial People's Court has 8 regions, of which Quang Binh province has 4 regions and Quang Tri province has 4 regions.

At the ceremony, the Provincial People's Court announced the decision of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court to appoint 8 Chief Justices and 20 Deputy Chief Justices of the People's Courts of the regions of the new Quang Tri province.

In his speech assigning tasks, Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court Nguyen Huu Tuyen hoped that leaders of units need to uphold exemplary spirit, solidarity, unity, and coordination with prosecution agencies, units, and localities, and deploy breakthrough solutions to successfully complete professional work and emulation movements launched by the Supreme People's Court.

The leaders of the units are responsible for the organization and smooth operation of the units after the merger; timely and properly implementing the provisions of law on the transfer and handover of case files and documents, unfinished cases; facilities, headquarters, working means of the agencies and data and documents during the merger and consolidation process according to the decision of the competent authority, ensuring continuity and not interrupting the operations of the Court.
