Awarding the decision approving the election results of Vice Chairman of the People's Council and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City

On the morning of November 24, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on personnel work. Mr. Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, chaired and presented the decisions.

Also attending were Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee; Mr. Dang Minh Thong, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

At the conference, the leaders of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee announced the resolution approving the election results of the Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, term X, 2021-2026, for Mr. Nguyen Van Tho.

At the same time, the decision to approve the election results for the position of Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term was announced for Mr. Hoang Nguyen Dinh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Nguyen Cong Vinh, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance and Tran Van Bay, Chief Inspector of Ho Chi Minh City.

Previously, at the 5th session (special session), the 10th term People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2021-2026, elected Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City as Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City; elected Mr. Hoang Nguyen Dinh, Nguyen Cong Vinh and Tran Van Bay as Vice Chairmen of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for the term 2021-2026.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang congratulated and expressed great expectations for the officials taking on new tasks, in the context of Ho Chi Minh City entering a new development stage with many important requirements and tasks.

The Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee shared that currently, Ho Chi Minh City has two very important groups of tasks. That is organizing and implementing the resolutions of the Central and Ho Chi Minh City. Along with that, building institutions and mechanisms strong enough to exploit the potential and advantages of the city. He also noted that it is necessary to strengthen inspection and supervision to promptly draw experiences and point out points that need to be overcome.

The Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee analyzed that, in response to that requirement, the leadership team must be stronger, more elite, braver and more determined in their work. That is also the reason why the city decided to increase the leadership of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council.

On behalf of the assigned officials, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Hoang Nguyen Dinh pledged to make every effort, continuously study and practice, maintain solidarity, and be determined to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
