Among them, the new house was handed over to the family of Ms. Ho Ngoc Dieu (86 years old), Xom So hamlet, Ho Thi Ky commune. Ms. Dieu is a beneficiary of government social welfare policies and is currently worshipping a fallen soldier.
At the same time, the unit also organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of two houses for Ms. Vo Hong Nghi, Kinh Hoi hamlet, Khanh Binh commune, and Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh, Lung Thuoc hamlet, Luong The Tran commune. These are both households facing difficult circumstances, lacking land for production, with unstable incomes, and raising young children.

Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Duy Cuong, Deputy Director of the Southern Truong Son Command - 12th Army Corps, said that this activity has practical significance in celebrating the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), and at the same time demonstrates the sense of responsibility and compassion of the unit's officers and soldiers in joining hands with the locality to care for the lives of the people, contributing to the effective implementation of social welfare work and sustainable poverty reduction in the area where the unit is constructing the Ca Mau - Dat Mui expressway project.
Comrade Phan Van Thuan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Thi Ky Commune, presented a plaque acknowledging the generous contribution to the representative of the Southern Truong Son Committee, 12th Army Corps.
At the ceremony, local authorities expressed their hope that the families receiving housing support would soon stabilize their lives, feel secure in their work and production, and gradually rise out of poverty. They also hoped to continue receiving the support of units, businesses, and the armed forces in caring for policy beneficiary families and disadvantaged households in the area.

Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh's old house was dilapidated, so the sponsors encouraged the family to contribute their labor to complete the house before the rainy season.
Representatives from the Southern Truong Son Regiment - 12th Army Corps stated that the unit hopes the supported houses will become solid homes, providing further motivation for families to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and take care of their children's education.
