According to the plan, the Social Work Center and the Children's Support Fund of Thua Thien Hue province will coordinate with relevant units to organize the "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival" program for children in special and difficult circumstances in the community in 2023.

It is expected that 1,000 children in special and difficult circumstances, children from poor households, children with serious illnesses requiring long-term treatment, children affected by natural disasters, and children living in social assistance facilities in Thua Thien Hue province will participate in the "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival" program in 2023.

Notably, this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, children with special and difficult circumstances will be able to visit the Hue Imperial City, watch lion dances, art performances, participate in games, and cultural exchanges; receive gifts, scholarships, and most importantly, participate in the Mid-Autumn Festival feast.

The organization of the "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival" program for children in special and difficult circumstances in the community in 2023 aims to create a playground for children to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival happily and warmly;educate them about the cultural beauty of the Vietnamese people. Through the program, we will mobilize social resources to join hands to help materially and spiritually, creating conditions and opportunities for children in special and difficult circumstances in the community to live safely, healthily, and develop comprehensively.

It is known that the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province has also issued a document directing the Departments of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Health, Provincial Police, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Provincial Market Management Department, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities on organizing the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2023.

Accordingly, the leaders of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province requested the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of the province to preside over and coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Thua Thien Hue province and related departments, branches, organizations and units to organize a Mid-Autumn Festival for children to ensure safety, health, practicality and economy; organize useful artistic and recreational activities, promote good and unique cultural values of the nation and be suitable to local conditions and characteristics.

The Department of Health of Thua Thien Hue province presides over and coordinates with the Provincial Police and the Market Management Department of Thua Thien Hue to strengthen inspections of food safety and hygiene; protect children from the influence of products, toys and games that are violent, anti-educational, poor quality, toxic, dangerous and unsuitable for children.

The People's Committees of districts, towns and Hue city shall allocate funds from the state budget, mobilize resources from organizations and individuals to visit and give Mid-Autumn gifts to children; pay attention to children in special circumstances, children from poor households, children in ethnic minority areas, remote areas, border areas, orphans and children affected by natural disasters and epidemics.
