On the islands, from early morning, many naval officers and soldiers took advantage of their free time outside of training to decorate the stage, hang flags, flowers, balloons, erect banners and slogans, and prepare the sound and lighting systems for the program. The atmosphere was bustling and filled with laughter before the children's festival.

On Truong Sa Island, the central courtyard was chosen as the main venue for activities. Many whimsical models, areas for traditional games, and a stage for cultural performances have been completed. Children eagerly and enthusiastically practiced dances and songs about their homeland, the sea and islands, and love for the country under the guidance of officers and soldiers.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Huy Phung, Political Officer of Truong Sa Island, said: "The activities for International Children's Day on June 1st were meticulously prepared to create a beneficial playground, helping the children have a joyful and warm celebration, contributing to encouraging families to work with peace of mind and commit to building a stronger island."

On Sinh Ton Island, preparations were also carried out urgently. Officers, soldiers, and their families cleaned up the environment, decorated the hall, practiced performing arts, and prepared gifts for the children. Many group games, interactive activities, and quizzes with prizes were designed to suit the age group, creating a healthy and beneficial playground for the children.

Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Cuong, Political Officer of Sinh Ton Island, shared: “For the officers, soldiers, and people on the island, caring for children is not only a responsibility but also a special affection for the younger generation. We hope that these activities will bring the children much joy, helping them feel the concern of the Party committee, the unit's commanders, and the affection of people nationwide towards Truong Sa.”

A lively atmosphere prevails in celebration of International Children's Day on Song Tu Tay Island.

On Song Tu Tay and Da Tay islands, preparations are also underway with great enthusiasm. Many officers and soldiers are actively working to complete the stage, playground, and special cultural performances. Familiar children's songs resound amidst the vast sea and sky of Truong Sa, creating a joyful and intimate atmosphere.

Youth organizations and women's associations on the island organized activities such as cutting and pasting models, making handicrafts, and preparing small gifts for the children. In particular, many gifts, congratulatory letters, and school supplies sent from the mainland were received and carefully arranged to be handed directly to the children on June 1st.

Besides recreational activities, the islands also focus on developing educational programs to help children understand more about the traditions of the Navy, love for the sea and islands of their homeland, and awareness of protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland. Many exchange activities between children and naval officers and soldiers are meticulously prepared.

These days, the laughter, chatter, and singing of children practicing for cultural performances resound throughout the islands of the Truong Sa Special Zone, contributing to a warmer and more affectionate atmosphere on the sea and islands, a vivid testament to the love, sharing, and determination to build Truong Sa into an increasingly strong force at the forefront of the nation's defense.
