- This September, DND Bac Giang International Eye Hospital coordinated with the Lang Son Provincial Elderly Association and Loc Binh Regional Medical Center to organize humanitarian medical examination and treatment of eye diseases for the elderly.

Accordingly, over 960 elderly people in 7 communes: Loc Binh, Mau Son, Na Duong, Loi Bac, Xuan Duong, Khuat Xa, Thong Nhat were examined and consulted about eye diseases and over 300 elderly people were assigned to have surgery for eye diseases (cataracts, pterygium...).

In order for this activity to be implemented effectively, after receiving approval from the Lang Son Department of Health , the coordinating units announced the plan to examine, consult, and treat eye diseases to the commune health stations and widely announced to the elderly in the area. At the same time, ensuring the conditions of location, human resources and equipment to examine and consult eye diseases at 20 health stations in the 7 communes above.
