Can Tho Triathlon team wins gold medal at national championship.

(CT) - The Can Tho Triathlon team has just won 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals and 3 bronze medals at the 2026 National Triathlon Club Championship.

The gold medal won by the Can Tho team was in the mixed relay triathlon event, 4x distance (300m swim, 6.6km bike, and 1km run), thanks to the efforts of athletes Tra My, Cong Tru, Minh Thu, and Xuan Tung.

The team won two more silver medals: one by athlete Tra My in the women's individual triathlon sprint (750m swimming, 20km cycling, 5km running) and another by Xuan Tung in the men's individual triathlon sprint. Three bronze medals were also won by athlete Cong Tru in the men's individual triathlon sprint; the mixed relay triathlon (4x distance) with athletes Thien An, Duy Khang, Phuong Trinh, and Duy Dong; and athlete Gia Vinh in the men's individual aquathlon sprint (500m swimming, 2.5km running).

The 2026 National Triathlon Club Championship, organized by the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Culture and Sports in collaboration with the Vietnam Triathlon Federation and Tam Chuc Tourism Services Co., Ltd., attracted participation from 16 provinces, cities, and sectors.
