Mobile exhibition "Hoang Sa and Truong Sa of Vietnam - Historical and legal evidence"

On October 6, at Y Jut High School (Ea Bhok commune, Cu Kuin district), the Department of Information and Communications in coordination with the People's Committee of Cu Kuin district organized the Opening of the Mobile Exhibition "Hoang Sa, Truong Sa of Vietnam - Historical and legal evidence" (Exhibition).

Attending the program were leaders of several provincial departments and branches; leaders of Cu Kuin district; a large number of cadres, union members, youth, students, armed forces soldiers and people in Cu Kuin district.

Delegates cut the ribbon to open the Exhibition.

The exhibition displays and introduces more than 100 important documents provided by the Ministry of Information and Communications , including 6 topics: Maps of Vietnam during the monarchy period (16th - 19th century) affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos; Extracts and Royal records of the Nguyen Dynasty showing Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos; Maps published in the West (16th - 19th century) recording Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos; Maps of China published by the West and China (16th - 20th century) recording that Hoang Sa and Truong Sa do not belong to China; images and documents of the Hoang Sa archipelago before 1975; some images of the current Truong Sa archipelago and activities of naval officers, soldiers and people on the Truong Sa archipelago.

Students in Cu Kuin district participated in visiting and learning about the Exhibition.

This is an important information and propaganda activity, affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. With documents, texts, maps, images and artifacts, it has affirmed Vietnam's just stance, raising the spirit of solidarity and sense of responsibility of the people, especially the youth and students in the cause of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

The exhibition runs until October 8.
