The exhibition vividly outlines the historical journey of the Vietnamese publishing industry, from ancient "pages of books" to modern printing technology, while emphasizing the industry's great contributions to the cause of socio -economic development and the elevation of national culture in the new era.

The exhibition space is over 500 square meters wide, designed with the inspiration of the "gate of time" and the symbol of a revolutionary boat overcoming storms, symbolizing the resilient journey of the nation under the leadership of the Party.

Many valuable artifacts are introduced at the exhibition.

Right at the entrance is a model of the number "80 years" built with the complete set of Party documents, marking one of the most outstanding achievements of the publishing industry, directly contributing to the Party's theoretical work.

Visitors can admire nearly 1,000 books on many topics: political theory, science-technology, innovation, culture-art... In particular, the exhibition area also has rare original documents, such as publications printed in the historic Autumn of 1945 or in the Viet Bac resistance base against French colonialism.

The exhibition space is arranged aesthetically and modernly.

A meaningful artifact is the Typo printer that the General Confederation of Labor presented to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 1966, and then moved to war zone D to serve the printing of documents for the National Liberation movement. Through countless hardships, the printer printed hundreds of thousands of pages of revolutionary documents, accompanying the nation until the day of total victory.

In addition to printed books, the exhibition also introduces thousands of e-books and audiobooks – a genre that is popular with young readers. This reflects the publishing industry’s efforts to innovate and keep up with technological trends, aiming to build a learning society and develop a reading culture in the digital age.

The exhibits provide important data sources for visitors.

Along with the exhibition area, on an area of nearly 400m², the book selling area gathers typical publishers and many prestigious distribution units. Here, readers can access and purchase thousands of books that have been carefully reviewed for legality and ideological content, ensuring political standards and cultural values.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Nguyen, Director of the Department of Publishing, Printing and Distribution, emphasized: The exhibition is an opportunity to honor the glorious journey of the industry, and at the same time clearly demonstrate the development orientation in the new era - a modern, professional publishing industry, contributing directly to the cause of building a rich, prosperous and happy country as directed by General Secretary To Lam.

Many valuable documents are introduced to readers.

Young readers stopped for quite a while at the e-book display, curiously trying to turn pages on the touch screen, or enthusiastically listening to audiobooks with emotional voices.

Ha Thanh Mai, a student at Hanoi University of Culture, shared: "We are used to reading books on the phone, but today, seeing with my own eyes the artifacts of the publishing industry associated with the history of the nation, I feel more clearly the sacrifices and hardships of previous generations to preserve words and knowledge. That makes us appreciate reading culture more and gives us more motivation.

Modern space attracts public visitors.

In addition to its display mission, this exhibition has become a generational bridge. Those born in the digital age, when directly touching the yellowed pages of 1945, or listening to the story of the Typo machine overcoming many hardships and challenges, have understood more that knowledge symbolizes the aspiration for independence, of the strength of the national spirit, contributing to the lasting vitality of reading culture in today's society.
